The route of the Berlin Wall Race – during which the Berlin Wall Walk takes place – corresponds almost entirely to the official “Wall Trail”, the former patrol route of the GDR border troops around “Westberlin”. During the Berlin Wall Walk 2026, the aim is to cover the last 60 kilometers of the official 100-mile route.

The start takes place on the market square in Teltow, the finish location of the Berlin Wall Walk is at Friedrich-Ludwig-Jahnsportpark in the Berlin district Prenzlauer Berg. Along the trail (which will be completely marked) there will be a total of 9 refreshment stations (VPs) at a distance of 5 to 9 km. There the participants can expect food and beverages suitable for runners and, of course, an encouraging atmosphere.
