QUESTIONS ABOUT YOUR PERSONAL RUN LOGISTICS

How do I get from one place to another in Berlin?

In general, public transport runs continuously from Friday to Sunday evening. Your bib/start number entitles you to free use of S-Bahn, trams, underground trains, buses and some ferries for all journeys to and from the event on Saturday and Sunday.

You can take public transport directly to the start. From the underground station Reinickendorfer Straße (U6) you can walk directly to the stadium entrance at Müllerstraße 185.

There will be a shuttle bus that will offer a total of three trips from the H4 Hotel to the stadium between 4:30 a.m. and around 5:50 a.m.

There is NO parking on the stadium grounds!

Of course, the U6 will continue to operate after the run. There is also a free shuttle bus commuting between the destination and the H4 Hotel between midnight and 12:30 pm. Here, single runners have absolute priority.

Please note, bicycles cannot generally be transported in any of the shuttles.

How do I get the running equipment I need on the track?

Individual runners, 2-man and 4-man relays receive a (white) starter bag with the starting documents, which includes three colored “drop bags” marked with 1, 2 and 3. With these three drop bags we transport your personal belongings to the three exchange points.

You will also receive 4 loop labels with your start number, with which you can mark these three drop bags and the white starter bag (or another piece of luggage of your choice) for your change items in the stadium. You can hand in the latter with the drop bags. Please do not deposit any valuables – we cannot take responsibility for them.

You can hand in your colored drop bags for the three exchange points with personal items such as clothing, headlamps for the night, spare batteries, your own food, etc. from 5:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. in the stadium. Please think carefully about when you will need your mandatory night equipment and, if in doubt, deposit it on SS 2.

When and where can I collect my drop bags?

The drop bags are driven back into the stadium. The handout takes place there from 4:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. All drop bags not picked up in the stadium will be transported to the H4 Hotel. You can collect them there between 1:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Please make sure to pick up your drop bags again. We cannot forward them to you and will have to dispose of them after 14 days.

Is there a shower in the stadium?

Yes, changing rooms and showers are available in the stadium – but only with very limited capacity.
