The Spandau Forest is closed to forest visitors until at least August 18, 2025.
This is due to the massive storm damage caused by the low-pressure system Ziros at the end of June. There is a risk to life in the closed areas.

This also applies to the Berlin Wall Trail between Falkenseer Chaussee (AS 17) and Schönwalde (AS 18). We have not received a permit from the Berlin Forestry Service for this section.

The detour is now via Schönwalder Allee. The detour will extend the route from Falkenseer Chaussee to Schönwalde (AS 17 to AS 18) by 2.5 km. To compensate for this increase, we have shortened the route from Schönwalde to the Nieder Neuendorf border tower (AS 18 to AS 19) by the same 2.5 km.

The cut-off times for Schönwalde (AS 18) have been adjusted accordingly.
