See you in August!

It looks like the 9th Berlin Wall Race will take place as planned, on August 14th and 15th.

In the background we were very busy and were able to work through our checklist bit by bit:

  • Start, finish and moderation in the stadium ✅
  • Start bib collection, briefing, pasta party and award ceremony in the hotel ✅
  • Race doctor Carsten Bölke and the DRK (German Red Cross) will be there again ✅
  • Time registration “raceresult” ✅
  • T-shirts, medals, etc. ✅

We are in the process of getting all the official permits and approvals and hygiene concepts are constantly being adapted to the new rules. We know that you are impatient, but how the hygiene concept will actually look at race day, we can only say shortly before, because of the ever-changing corona measures. However,at the moment the changes are always measures to ease restrictions and procedures, so that also looks good.

“We are on it” and very confident. It looks quite like you will get everything you booked and most importantly you will have a unique running experience.

Do we have a plan B in case of an unexpected cancellation or corona related travel problems? Yes, and with this plan we will find a satisfactory solution for each participant, but we ask you to refrain from asking questions about this now. For now, we are putting all our energy into the event!

By the way, we are still looking for volunteers. Maybe your friends or family can not only cheer you on, but also help out. Or maybe one or the other relay runner can help out at an aid station before or after his part of the run. You can register here!

We are looking forward to seeing you!
